Die Schwerpunkte der Versorgung sind die gelenkerhaltenden und gelenkersetzende Operationen aller Gelenke. Darunter fallen sowohl Knorpeltransplantationen, rekonstruktive Eingriffe bei Rotatorenmanschettenriß, Kreuzbandersatzoperationen, Ellenbogenoperationen aber auch die Implantation und der Wechsel von künstlichen Gelenken. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt der Klinik ist die Behandlung der Hüftdysplasie mit allen ihren operativen Formen. Traditionell besitzt die Kinderorthopädie in der Klinik einen ebenso hohen Stellenwert wie die Sportorthopädie. Die Fuß-Chirurgie und die Diagnostik und Therapie rheumatischer Erkrankungen gehören ebenfalls in dieses Spektrum.
