Cody's Easy Homemade Hummus

Before you hit up Hummus Elijah on GrabFood, consider making your hummus at home. This creamy chickpea dip, rich with tahini and a punch of lemon juice, can feed you around the clock. It's brunch, merienda, an appetizer, even dinner, whether served with pita bread or tucked in a shawarma wrap.

Cody's friends swear that he makes the best homemade hummus. To make it, bring out your food processor. You'll need it to blitz garlic, canned chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil, and tahini.

What is tahini?

This sesame paste is a major ingredient for hummus, but can be hard to find at the grocery. And if you do, it's usually pretty expensive. Good thing you can make tahini at home!

For homemade tahini, grind 1 cup of white sesame seeds in a food processor or high-speed blender until coarse and ground up. Add 1–2 tablespoons olive oil and blitz into a smooth paste. If your tahini looks too thick, add more oil, a tablespoon at a time, to thin it out.

Some history about Ulriksdals Värdshus, and it all comes from the Inn.
Ulriksdals castle was built around by Marshal of the Realm, Jakob de la Gardie and was named Jakobsdal. In the year of the castle was purchased by Karl XI:s mother, queen dowager Hedvig Eleonora. She gave it to her newborn grandson Prince Ulrik in , so the castle gained its present name. Sadly enough the little Prince died only a year old. The castle has been residence for several Kings. Karl XV and his jolly friends often amused themselves with parties, boat trips and hunting pheasants at Ulriksdal.
However; it hasn’t been only Royalties enjoying Ulriksdal. Already in the 17th century, peasants were able to clear their throats here as they travelled around trying to sell their crop. This first known Inn was located in the mounteneers house, built in , later known as Confidencen.

I förra veckan var jag på endagskonferens med jobbet. Det plats jag vilket kom tillsammans förslaget var oss skulle existera. I start på året var jag på en event likt höll mot vid slottsträdgården Ulriksdal (Bo Rappnes handelsträdgård) och jag blev blixtförälskad vid inledande besöket! Jag har länge tänkt åka dit tillsammans med familjen till att njuta av de fantastiska omgivningarna, växthusen och planteringarna med all växtlighet samt blomprakt. ej minst äger jag velat besöka trädgårdscaféet igen med dess fika samt mat som existerar helt enastående. Men idag blev detta ett mottagning med jobbet och detta var verkligen så vackert, gott samt trevligt såsom jag minns det.
