In the regional dance residencies that Riksteatern run across the country, professional practitioners can develop their artistic ideas in close collaboration with local organizers, participants and audiences.
When we lay the foundation for our co-produced residencies, we start from the specificities of the location.
Involved collaborators in the residencies set the tone and direction of the joint work. The collaboration consists of research, local anchoring, artistic meetings and events.
The regional residencies are applied for through open calls which are advertised regularly. The residencies include working premises, accommodation, fees and production funds, as well as contact with local expertise on site.

Is the water tap or drainpipe leaking, is the water sinking too slowly down the drain or is there a total stop in it?
These things should be notified to the maintenance company as soon as possible to prevent bigger damage. Notify the maintenance company, Vaasan Talopalvelu Oy, about the problem so they can fix it.

APPLICATION
Lärkan lets out flats to students in accordance with the foundation’s ordinance, meaning that students studying at Swedish-speaking higher education institutes have priority. Of these students, teacher-students have priority over other students. The applications must be submitted according to the following schedule: first-year students

The Åland archipelago guest artist residence
We welcome artists of all disciplines to submit their applications to the The Åland archipelago guest artist residence for April – March
You can apply for a residence period: 2 weeks – 12 weeks.
We welcome to the residency both first-time residents and former residents and we accept applications from individual artists as well as work partners and small workgroups.
The residency includes accommodation and a workspace. The residence arranges excursions for the artists to local historical, cultural and natural sites in the area.
The Åland Archipelago Guest Artist Residence is situated in a rural setting on the peaceful island of Kökar, Åland Islands, between land i norden and Sweden. The residency offers professional artists an opportunity to work, develop new ideas and reflect on their practice in a supportive atmosphere, in connection with nature and the local community.
Duration of residency
You can apply for a residence period: 2 weeks – 12 weeks.
